11 bit studios announced The Alters in June 2022 and since then they haven’t told much about their creation. According to the schedule published the day before, the team plans to organize the first press-show at gamescom 2023. The developers also clarified the release window, platforms and more.
On the card 11 bit collected the following information:
- The Alters will be released in the first half of 2024 simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
- The first press show will take place at the upcoming gamescom. The studio will also be going on a press tour of the US in September.
- A survivalist gameplay demo will be organized sometime in the fall.
- For the game prepared more than 10 thousand voiced and animated lines of dialog.
If you thought you’ve heard this information somewhere before, you haven’t. Similar wording was found in the June update for Frostpunk 2. Apparently, 11 bit will start promoting both their projects in parallel – Frostpunk sequel will also start in the first half of 2024.
