The highly-acclaimed indie adventure Kentucky Route Zero will get native versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series as early as next week. This was revealed by publisher Annapurna Interactive and development studio Cardboard Computer. A small trailer is attached to the announcement.
The authors described the project as follows:
Kentucky Route Zero is an adventure game about a secret highway through a system of underground caves in Kentucky and the mysterious people traveling along it. Over the course of five acts, players will follow a group of lost travelers: an aging freight forwarder carrying the last order of a closing antique store, a girl fixing old televisions surrounded by ghosts, a boy and his giant beagle friend, and robotic musicians – as they wander the confusing and magical highway.
Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition will land on PS5 and Xbox Series on August 17. The project is also available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and iOS and Android mobile devices.
