Sony has announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sold an impressive 2.5 million copies in the first 24 hours after release. The Spider-Man sequel has become PlayStation Studios’ fastest-selling game ever.
The first installment of Marvel’s Spider-Man also earned the title, selling 3.3 million units in the first three days after launch. As of June 2022, Spidey’s solo movie, along with the Miles Morales spin-off, has sold more than 33 million copies.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launched on October 20 on PlayStation 5 only. The sequel will get an update with “New Game +” before the end of 2023.
