Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop, a starship repair simulator, will be released in 2024

Publisher Kasedo Games and development studio Beard Envy have expanded the list of platforms for roguelite spaceship repair simulator Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop. The news is accompanied by a new trailer.

The protagonist of Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop named Wilbur is not worshipping crazy space gods or chasing Tem-sama’s treasure, but is trying to earn his living by repairing starships on a small asteroid.

Every day the mechanic will deal with a variety of orders – from simple refueling to complete repair of procedurally generated spaceship modules. Earned funds should be used to improve the workshop to accept larger “swallows”.

Work makes horses die, so the protagonist does not forget to distract himself from professional activities. For this purpose Beard Envy has prepared an elaborated universe, interesting characters, puzzles and random plot events. It is important to pay A.R.E.N.N.D.U. on time – otherwise Wilbur will be in trouble. After overdue will have to start the journey again, but some of the purchased improvements will remain in place.

The team has also announced a set of willing participants for testing, which will begin at the end of 2023. You can request access to the playtest directly from the Valve store.

Spaceship Repair Shop will open in Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
